The elimination of interference is accomplished by reflection and/or absorption of radiated electromagnetic energy by media constructed of electrically conductive material, in honeycomb or louvered form confined in a frame, with electrically conductive gasketing (or self-gasketing feature) to provide electrical contact with the cabinet on which it is installed or mounted. It may be used in air ventilating or heating ducts, lighting aperture and the like. It may have a filter for dust protection. It may include a drip-proof design feature. Excludes electrical filtering devices which employ capacitor, resistor and coil components to eliminate or suppress conducted electromagnetic energy. Excludes SHIELD,TEST.
