The system provides ATC for aviation assets conducting reconnaissance, maneuver, medical evacuation, logistics, and intelligence operations across the battlefield. The system provides ground-to-air communications between ATS units and all services and allied aircraft and ground-to-air communications internal to ATS units and between ATS units and other ground units.
