When connected, the mating pipes are close to the shoulders to eliminate pockets and provide a smooth flow of the pipe and/or fitting contents. It is designed to join two sections of pipe and/or pipe fittings. It may include side or heel inlet(s). Excludes BEND, SOIL PIPE; and ELBOW, RAILING.
