It is primarily used as an earthmoving vehicle and is capable of bulldozing, obstacle reduction, and winching operations. It is drive-on air transportable, and low velocity air droppable, and does not require transport support for tactical deployment. It has a six-way power-angle-tilt bulldozer, winch, enclosed cab, hydraulic power tool connections, and may have an armored cab. It can ford shallow streams at normal speeds, and cross country travel capability.
